8.10 - Smoking

8.11 The Centre complies with all Federal, State and Council laws and regulations with regard smoking in public areas.
8.12 All Centre events and activities are SMOKE FREE.
8.13 There is to be no smoking within the competition area at Sassella Park at any time.

8.13.1 The competition area is all grassed area with in Sassella Park including the children’s playground

8.13.2 The bitumen car park is NOT considered part of the competition area.
8.14 Centre Management Committee holds the right to remove from the competition area anyone caught in breach of this by-law.
8.14.1 Centre Management Committee holds the right to ban repetitive offenders from attending further events.

8.20 - Alcohol
8.21
The Centre complies with all Federal, Stat and Council laws and regulation with regard the sale and consumption of alcohol.
8.22 All Centre events and activities are ALCOHOL FREE.
8.23 There is to be no alcohol consumed within the competition area at Sassella Park at any time.
8.24 Centre Management Committee holds the right to remove from the competition area anyone caught in breach of this by-law
8.25.1 Centre Management Committee holds the right to ban repetitive offender from attending further evens.

8.30 - Drugs
8.31
The Centre will not condone the use of drugs at all
8.32 No Drugs are to be brought into the competition area at any time.
8.33
Anyone found in breach of this by-law will be immediately removed from the competition area and the matter referred to the Centre General Committee for the consideration of disciplinary action
8.34 The Centre General Committee has the right to report the matter to the relevant authority (e.g. Police, ASADA) for further investigation.

8.40 - Sun Protection
8.41
The Centre encourages all its members to be sun smart.
8.42 The Centre will make available appropriate sunscreen for those requiring it.

8.43 All Athletes, Officials and Spectators are advised to wear appropriate hats and clothing during competition.

8.50 - Emergency Situations

8.51 The Sassella Park facility may need to be evacuated due to emergency situations.

8.52 In the event that such a situation occurs, the Chief of Officials will become the Centre Safety Officer and co-ordinate this evacuation. They will also be responsible for contacting the relevant emergency service if appropriate.
8.52.1 All other Centre officials will then come under the control/direction of the Chief of Officials unless they are the sole caregiver of children in attendance.

8.53 When such a situation has been identified the Arena Announcer/Manager will announce that the arena needs to be evacuated immediately.
8.53.1 Those in attendance will be directed to either the primary evacuation point, Sassella Car Park, or the secondary evacuation point, Sassella Street behind the back straight.

8.54 Once in the evacuation area parents/guardians will need to ensure that all members of their family are present and accounted for.
8.55 The Centre Secretary and Registrar will be in control of the evacuation area and should be advised as soon as possible of missing individuals.
8.56 Families can leave the area once they have identified they are all present and advice either the Secretary or Registrar of their departure.
8.57 Further actions taken by Centre Officials will be dictated by the nature of the emergency. Members of the executive are not to leave the facility until the situation is under control by the relevant authority, unless they are the sole caregiver of children in attendance.
8.58 Centre Executive should undertake a damage assessment of Centre assets as son as is practically possible for submission with any insurance claims.

8.60 - Medical Emergencies

8.61 In all medical emergencies the First Aid Officer will assume control of the situation

8.62 All centre members will act under the direction of the First Aid Officer
8.63 If an ambulance is required the Arena Announcer and Chief of Officials assume the responsibility of ensuring it has a clear thoroughfare to the where it is required.

8.64 The Centre will always act in the best interest of the individual and will base these actions on the recommendation of the First Aid Officer.
8.64.1 Should the effected individual refuse to follow the recommendations of the First Aid Officer, this will be noted in writing by the First Aid Officer and witnessed by a member of the Executive. 

8.70 Dogs

8.71 No dogs shall be permitted within the centre during competition and training times.
